What Happens When You Draw an Assassination Attempt Card?

☠️ Step 1: Reveal It – If you draw an Assassination Attempt card, you must show it to all players immediately. Your fate now hangs in the balance!

🃏 Step 2: Check Your Hand – Do you have a Bodyguard card? If so, congratulations—you’re not going down so easily!

🛡️ Step 3: Discard Your Bodyguard – Your loyal protector has taken the hit for you. Discard the Bodyguard card to The Guild—they’ve paid the ultimate price to save your life.

🤫 Step 4: Replant the Danger – Here’s where things get interesting! You now secretly place the Assassination Attempt card back into the Action Deck, anywhere you like:

Right back on top for the next unlucky player 😈

A few cards down for a delayed surprise 😏

Deep in the deck for the ultimate slow burn 🔥

At the very bottom if you’re feeling merciful! 😇

🚫 No Shuffling Allowed! Once you’ve placed the card, put the deck back on the table, and the next player takes their turn.
